Dr. Annam obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Annamalai University, India in 1997, and has since dedicated herself to advancing her knowledge and skills across various dental disciplines. She has equipped herself in Orthodontics, Laser Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, Endodontics, and Oral Surgery.
With over 20 years of experience in dentistry, her career began in government hospitals and private clinics in India, where she gained extensive experience in general dental practice. Her passion for teaching led her to serve as a faculty member in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at a dental college in India.
Dr. Annam’s professional journey continued as a Dental Officer at the University Malaya Dental Faculty in Malaysia, where she enhanced her clinical expertise and academic insights. With seven years in government service focusing on hospital-based dentistry and government clinics, she joined Tiew Dental Group in 2012. Here, she excels in providing comprehensive dental care, focusing on orthodontics, endodontics, laser dentistry, and cosmetic procedures.
A firm believer in continuing education, Dr. Annam completed her MFDS Part I (London) and is currently pursuing Part II. She remains an active member of the Malaysian Dental Association, staying abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry and contributing to the dental community.
Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Annam values family time and enjoys being outdoors, nurturing her love for nature. She finds joy in cooking and singing, enriching her life beyond dentistry with creative pursuits.
