Dr Beatrix believes in biomimetic & minimally invasive dentistry and would try her best to save patient’s sound tooth structure and tooth vitality using high quality biomaterials which strength and structure best mimics our natural teeth, ensuring that they not only look beautiful but lasts. She also finds a sense of accomplishment and joy when she sees changes to patient’s teeth and their smiles being restored. Hence, besides designing custom treatment plans for patients, she is invested in dental photography to record the process of the tooth and smile being restored.
Dr Beatrix Tan graduated from MAHSA University with the Vice-Chancellor Award in 2018. She is passionate about her dentistry, inspired to design and carry out the highest quality treatments for her patients.
After receiving her bachelor’s degree from MAHSA, she was posted to Putrajaya for two and a half years of clinical attachment in Oral Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry, Periodontics and Community Dentistry. She developed her interest in Biomimetic Dentistry during those years and even self-purchased the materials in order to treat patients in the government sector without compromise.
Dr Beatrix constantly strives to stay up to date with the modern advances in dentistry by attending both local and international courses. She has completed the worldwide recognised 2-Year Comprehensive Orthodontic Training Programme by Progressive Orthodontic Seminars (USA) and is a Certified Invisalign Provider. On top of that, she is invested in Restorative & Implant Dentistry and attended a Soft Tissue Management for Implants under Dr Marius Steigmann in Melbourne, Australia. She also has attended an Occlusion Course held by Dr Stuart Orton Jones in India.
Dr Beatrix is currently a member of the Malaysian Dental Association and is professionally acknowledged by the Malaysian Dental Council. She is also active in multiple orthodontic & implant dental study clubs.
In her free time, she loves spending her time observing other complex dental procedures being carried out by her mentors, discussing cases with other dentists to gain more insight and perspective from others. She is also active on social media (Instagram) where she regularly displays her dental photography skills and updates her dental clinical work for critical evaluation.
Outside work related things, she is also well involved in church. She also likes dogs and has 2 corgis which she often pampers.
