Been a patient of Dr. Khor and he’s very skilled and precise with his work. The receptionists are friendly and polite, and the dental assistants are gentle too. Overall a really comfortable experience 😊

I went to get my braces done and was initially told that after the installation, I would only need to return once a month for regular check-ups and adjustments. However, within 2 days of getting the braces, one of the brackets came off. I went back to the dentist to fix it, and they asked whether I had eaten anything hard. I explained that I had only been eating blended porridge because my teeth were aching and I had avoided solid food completely. Over the following weeks, I had to return another 3-4 times because different brackets kept falling off - around 4 more in total. One of the brackets that had already been repaired after the initial installation even came off again after being fixed. At first, the dentist suggested it might be due to my bite and decided to add cement bite blocks to prevent me from biting down on the brackets. This explanation did not fully make sense to me because the brackets were coming off from different teeth each time. After the bite blocks were added, the dentist then mentioned that the issue could actually be related to the cement/adhesive used during the initial installation. I was told to be patient because I might need to keep returning whenever a bracket came loose. Within the same week, another bracket came off, and the dentist admitted that the problem was indeed due to the cement used. Now, today, another 2 brackets have come off again. This will already be my 6th or 7th return visit, despite originally being told I would only need monthly appointments.
