I went to check-up the huge hole on my bottom molar. Dr. David suggested I do an x-ray to confirm and as it turns out the nerve has been affected and the tooth is already necrotic. He was thorough with the explanation of the problem and solution. He even provided the costs without me needing to ask, which I find nice and such a transparent thing to do to the patients. After going through the solutions, I proceeded with extraction and essix retainer to delay the teeth shifting while I ponder if I wanted to do an implant. Tooth extraction was quick and painless. I am afraid of having needles going into my gums, but the Dr. put on numbing cream before so I felt nothing. Had to do a double shot though because I felt a tiniest sting when he was working on my gums. But after that, the process was completely painless. The recovery was smooth sailing. Followed the aftercare to avoid dry socket. I was prescribed with painkiller after having a bit of trouble sleeping. Then , I had a quick visit to make an impression for my retainer and was able to pick it up after a few days! Everyone was reassuring and gentle throughout my visits here. The procedures and prices: X-ray: RM100 Normal extraction: RM150 Essix retainer + 1 pontic tooth: RM250 + RM50 Anyway, overall, I had a pleasant experience here, from the doctor, DAs and staff alike. I think this might be my go-to dental clinic from now on!
