I am sorry I have to give this 1 Star rating. I went to to consult Dr Lesley yesterday on my wisdom tooth and she explained everything very clearly and after thinking about it later in the day I decided to do the procedure and I started to request for appointment from the clinic and until now, there is no response and I assume the clinic is not interested to do this procedure. If this is the case, at least have the courtesy to inform me and not let me waiting like a fool. Also with this type of attitude I am worry that if the procedure is done and there is an emergency, I will be be able to treated immediately.
About a year ago I was attended to by a lady doctor. I believe her name is Dr. Shu. I couldn't remember her name then. She was gentle and calmly explained the process prior to and as she was performing the extraction. She used only gel. It was surprisingly painless! My phobia was almost gone...almost. Then yesterday I (quite) bravely went to get a tooth extraction again. I admit that I delayed a bit but thought about my pleasant experience with Dr. Shu and proceeded. What followed was A NIGHTMARISH EXPERIENCE! I insisted on a lady doctor but couldn't recall her name at that moment. For some very strange reason, the receptionist and someone else avoided my request and sent me to a young guy (Joshua) who was waiting for me. I was in great pain and reluctantly proceeded. What followed was a disaster..A horrible NIGHTMARE! After applying the gel and around 3-4 injections later he attempted to extract my tooth (molar). The pain was extremely EXCRUCIATING!! I made a sound of pain - total pain. It was like extracting my tooth without any anesthetic! He then told me he'll "top-up" and continued to apply extra gel and another 3-4 injections. Then said there'll be no pain and began extracting my tooth. The pain was SO INTENSE that I almost passed out. My phobia immediately returned. From then on it was fear. When I returned home I began thinking why it hurt me so much. It dawned on me that he extracted my tooth about less than 10 seconds after the injections. Shouldn't be have waited for the anesthetic to take effect before he roughly extracted my tooth?? I find it all so strange. The second worse factor is my phobia is now even worse. He also said that if my tooth was infected and that he'll give me anti-biotics. It was but I never was prescribed any anti-biotic. So Dr. Shu, please look into this matter as it was a harrowing experience and I do not wish any one else who has a phobia to go through this nightmare. My cheek is still swollen. I can only hope it's normal.
