I did my 1st Metal crown ( lower left side molar 32) on 29 sept 2014 for RM650. It is still strong and believe it can last for another decade if i take care of it well. Today 22nd April 2024, After 9.5years, I have just completed another 2 crowns ( PFM and metal; 16&17 upper jaw right end) successfully by same Dentist. DR Kuay. She is not just professional and skillful but also very patience,kind, friendly, down to earth dentist. She managed to complete 2 crowns in 30mins each session for 2 sessions. ( last Monday & today). She also did the filling on same teeth for free before crowning. This time is faster than 10 years ago due to advance 3D or 360° camera scanning technology with high accuracy on crown moulding and production. It is worth very single cent paid for 900 per crown. I will never hesitate to recommend anyone to look for her especially on " crowning and filling". She will explain in details for each options before recommending you the best method to save your teeth. After teeth crowning, She will polish and floss yoor the surface and gaps of crowned tooth before luting agent /cement or material hardening. You will never endure pain or feel uncomfortable for long duration. All done in minutes due to her skillfullness!
