Update : Dr Syaheerah and team reach out to me after seeing my review. I appreciate their effort in rectifying my issue. I know Dr Syaheerah acted in good faith and means no harm. Alhamdulillah she removed my temporary filling and did the permanent filling, she was very gentle, and use numbing gel plus local anaesthesia which help with the pain level for the procedure. She also entertained all our quiries and worries calmly and patiencely. Hopefully I won't need further treatment, especially root canal. It's too soon to tell but I can only pray ❤️🤲 Went in for scaling. Dr Syahirah saw me and she was very good with the scaling. After done scaling, she did a check up of my teeth, and show me some of the holes, and offer to do filling. I thought it will be a simple procedure. Unfortunately I was ill informed. 1st she only showed me on which teeth I have the holes but didn't show me the real picture of the hole on those teeth. I didn't really know how my teeth looks prior to the procedure, since it is on the upper teeth molars. When she started the process I didn't know that it requires drilling and removing some of the decay inside of the tooth 😭 by end of the drilling she informed me the decay is deeper and by end of the procedure the hole is big as she shows me on the screen and I can literally feel the hole with my tongue. She said I might need root canal, my heart drop 😭 I wish I didn't agreed to the the procedure in the first place. My tooth was not even infected it was decay yes according to the doc. She suggest to put a temporary filling, which was 100 each tooth, that would only last for weeks. Now I have to get 2nd opinion, and to look for permanent filling, root canal or extractions. I'm upset because I went in for simple procedure but ended up worst 370 ringgit later. The whole night I couldn't sleep because I regret doing the procedure. Now I feel tingling on the tooth, I hope I can get it properly filled before it get infected since now the hole are bigger and can be exposed anytime if the permanent filling falls out. Scaling and service are good But the rest, unfortunately no 😢 Make sure you are well informed before getting your teeth drilled.
