Excellent dentist. Highly recomend for gum recession and food trapping. I avoided root canal! Bridges or dentures and implants. Yaaaaaa

Excellent! I can eat meat finally ! Without food trapping . Used to carry to water picks and assorted picks to clear teeth and every other week use to have gum infection tion. Tried at least 4 dentist and horrible results. Now all done Eat in peace and enjoy the food. No infe tion amd no inflammation. Thanks Maha

I visited this Dental Surgery whilst in Kuala Lumpur. I needed a check on fillings I recently had done in Bali, and for discussion on having bridges. Dr Mahendran Ponnudurai (he is the president of the Malaysian Dental Association) is the first dentist who clearly explained everything that needed to be done, why it was necessary (this was explained with various models of teeth, pictures and x-rays) and what could happen if I left my teeth in their current condition. His explanation was clear, succinct, factual and humorous. He could clearly see that I was fearful of Dental treatment, but his manner, knowledge and professionalism calmed me. His two Dental nurses were also excellent, in my opinion this is a superb team. I had two extractions, a root canal, treatment for an abscess, two permanent bridges fitted and two temporary bridges. I will return to Malaysia in June for the temporary bridges removal and the fitting of 2 permanent bridges. I am incredibly happy with the work Dr Mahendran has done so far (I am finally able to chew properly again), I can fully and confidently recommend him (especially for people like myself who have a fear of dentists). His surgery is open from early till late six days a week. Thank you for your time and Patience Dr Mahendran, it was a pleasure getting to know you. A quick update to my original review. It is now May 2025 and I am back in Malaysia. I visited Dr Mahendran again, this time I needed caps as some of my teeth had some serious cracks. The service I received was every bit as good as my first visit. He knows my pain tolerance is low, so made sure I did not feel any pain, even numbing the injection site with cream, before giving me the injection. He prepared the teeth, took a mould and put a cover on the teeth. Once my new caps arrived, he numbed the site before removing the cover. New caps were fitted quickly and securely, without pain. He checks his work every couple of days and makes subtle adjustments if and where needed. I find Dr Mahendran to be a genuinely nice and professional man. His sense of humour always makes the trip pleasant and the work is excellent. If you're worried about your teeth, this is where you should come to.
